About Inkwell
A quiet place to read serialized fiction and to publish your own, one chapter at a time.
For readers
Every story on Inkwell is free to read. Pick a theme, a typeface and a text size that suit you, and Inkwell remembers where you stopped. Add stories to your library to be told when new chapters arrive, and react to the lines that stay with you.
For authors
The author studio gives you a focused editor with autosave, volumes, drafts and scheduled chapters. Import chapters from Word, Google Docs, PDF or EPUB. Analytics show who keeps reading, where readers drop off, and which lines they loved, without counting your own visits.
Your stories stay yours
Authors keep the rights to everything they publish here. Read more in our Terms and Content guidelines.
